Flashback : Winse Strang 

In 2011 Winse Strang was the first Lawn Shamrock to be inducted to be inducted into the NLSA Soccer Hall of Fame. In 1987, at the age of 43, Winse was a member of the Lawn Shamrocks that won the Provincial Challenge Cup Title. What's was even more stunning was; seven years later, Winse was just three months shy of his 50th birthday, he won the MVP of the All Newfoundland Provincial Intermediate Tournament.
