It was one of the NLSA young officials, Mark Hayward of St. John's, who led all runners, crossing the finish line in 34
minutes, 36 seconds to win the annual Burin Peninsula CHCM Road Race. Kate Bazeley of St. John's won the women's category in 36:28.
