Holy Cross and St. Lawrence battle to a scoreless draw.

Veteran Laurentian Keeper - John Douglas
4 consecutive shut-out

Holy Cross - Brandon Noseworthy
3 shut-outs this season

Holy Cross: 0 vs St. Lawrence: 0

A very defensive game over-all with no more than a handful of good scoring opportunities. The tie was probably a victory of sort for the Laurentians. This tie now moves the Laurentians into first place in the over-all standings. St. Lawrence only dressed 13 players but played a very smart defensive game in earning the tie. John Douglas was the Laurentians key performer with a couple of good saves. Great efforts came from the Laurentians back-line; Clinton Edwards, Marc Pittman, Colin Power and Allan Dalton. It was no doubt that Cross were the more dominating team of the day but Holy Cross  lacked any sort of  cohesiveness as an offensive unit and as a result they couldn`t put anything behind Douglas. Zack Wade missed on a few glorious shots . Tyler Forsey , Jon Hawco, Jake Warren nor Steve Delong could really penetrate the Laurentians full-backs. With this sort of contest  being played,  I`m sure the Laurentians hit the shower with a smile on their face while this would not be the case for the Holy Cross squad.
