Mount Pearl : 2 vs Feildians: 1
In the early goings of this match the Feildians came
out showing their stuff and totally dominating th Mount Pearl for the
first 60 minutes of the match . Aaron Buckingham opening the scoring for
Feildians at the 8 minute mark and and for the entire first half it was
all Feildians but the Feildians just couldn't finish. The second half
opened up in similar fashion.... It was all Double Blues. However, at
the 60 minute mark the turning point of the game happened, Mount Pearl
's Brandon Noseworthy made one outstanding save and just minutes after
this, Tyler Forsey was brought back into the game. Forsey who had been
earlier benched, didn't appear to be to pleased when he came on and he
took out his frustrations on his opponent. For the final 30 minutes after
Forsey was brought back into the game, the game was owned by Mount Pearl
and it was Tyler Forsey who was leading the way. He
scored just a few minutes after he came back on while tying the game
at the 64 minute mark. Then at the 88 minute mark, he was the setup man
on Ronaldo Morris's goal. Forsey carried the ball from 40 yards and
brought it into the Feildians 20 yard line and delivered a beautiful
crossover setting up Ronaldo as he showed tremendous skill,
lobbying the ball over the Feildians keeper into a wide open yawning net. This
goal gave Mount Pearl a 2-1 lead and a come from behind victory that
will help Mount Pearl levitate the early season loss to the NL Games team.
