Slaney named Player of Month - May/2016.
Stefan Slaney's five goals in four games in the month of May has earned him NLSA Molson Challenge Cup " Player of the Month"for May. Slaney scored a single in the Laurentians 3-0 victory over Feildians. In his next match he scored a hat-trick against CBS in leading the Laurentians to a 4 - 0 victory. In the Laurentians final game in May against Holy Cross, Slaney scored the opening goal of the contest at the 2 minute mark giving the Laurentians a 1-0 half time lead. But Holy Cross roared back in the second half scoring three unanswered goals to give Holy Cross a 3 -1 win. Slaney is currently the leagues top goalscorer
