Roger SlaneyRoger - On the mend
It was good to see, Roger Slaney, a long time personal friend of mind back at the field yesterday evening watching the St.Lawrence /Holy Cross match. Roger is now back on the mend after being hospitalized just prior to Labor Day Weekend. Although, he did inform me he listened on radio to the Labor Day Weekend Challenge Cup Play-offs while being in the hospital and at the same time he was in the process of having his surgery done. Rogers had great words of praise for the medical profession of Newfoundland and he's word of advise for anyone is if you feel any sort of discomfort with your chest - Get yourself to the hospital.
