Mount Pearl blew by the Feildians for a score of 5-1 in Molson Challenge Cup play at Feildian Grounds. Both Justin Pickford and Ryan Caines scored twice for the Mount Pearl team. The other marker came from Tyler Forcey. Colin Power scored the lone marker for the Feildians.
On the Burin Peninsula, the St.Lawrence Laurentians shut out the NL Canada Games team by a 2-0 score. Ryan Lane and Bob Spearns scored for the Laurentians while John Douglas recorded the shut -out.
