NL played five games in total, in PEI
NL opened the tournament against NB playing them to a scoreless draw. In game two NL defeated Saskatchewan in a very hard fought contest by a 5-3 score. Next, it was the teams from two of our Atlantic Provinces defeating the NL. representatives. Nova Scotia, took away any chance of NL competing for a medal, they defeated NL by a 1-0 score, scoring a late goal at the 90th minute mark. Then in game four, PEI defeated NL by a 3-1 score. NL finished the five game tournament with a very respectable showing with:2 wins, 2 loses and one tie, good for a 7th place finish.==========
