Marystown upper and lower soccer venue Under - 12 Provincial Mega Tournament
While out home this past week-end to attend a family wedding I took in the Provincial Under -12 Mega Tournament being hosted by Marystown. This tournament had a total of 16 teams participating from all over the province. Marystown, Mount Pearl and ASIA from St.Pierre each had two entries. While Corner Brook, Conception Bay South, Labrador West, Conception Bay North, Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Goulds, Burin, Exploits Valley, ASSP and St. Lawrence each had one team
The Under 12 Mega Tournament games are played across the field with each team playing 8 players. St. Pierre, ASIA Club were the big winners, winning the "A" Division defeating Burin by a 4-1 score. ASSP from St. Pierre were crowned "B" division champs. Exploits Valley won the "C" division and the host Marystown team won "D".

Burin Under - 12's - Silver Medalists of the "A" Division. Individual award winners for Burin for the tournament were: MSP - Jeffrey Doyle; MVP - Christian Lace; Hard Hat -Trent Coady
St. Lawrence Under - 12's . Their individual award winners for the tournament were: MSP - Liam Haley; MVP - Adam Kelly; Hard Hat - Katie Kettle
